Born and bred in Kennington, South London artist Blanco has returned to the music scene and brought a new sound with him. Blanco had already accumulated supporters both as a solo artists, and part of his group Harlem Spartans.
At 21-years-old, Blanco has released a great deal of tunes during the span of his career, from earlier into his career such as "Jason Bourne", appearing on track "Kennington where it started", to more currently into his career with tunes like "Ringtone" and "Shippuden".
Blanco released English Dubbed late last year in November 2019, his debut mixtape. Featuring Birmingham based artist Mitch on "Where i'm From" and the help of producers 169, alexaybeats and moneyevery. This mixtape infused sounds of melodic vibes with raw sounds of the streets woven with Blanco's wordplay and narratives, giving us an insight into his versatility
With Shippuden, Blanco deploys his new sound with his freestyle, referencing bars from anime series such as Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. The anime themed bars are consistent throughout Blanco’s music, relating back to his character and devotion to it. This is a tune to listen to as it could truly be the first to open the door for a new wave of sounds in the UK.
